As the Lards are such a well-educated bunch I thought I'd address
this to 'Doc' and see who is best qualified to reply.

Dear Doc,

I'm worried about my ski-jacket. I think it may be suffering
from post-traumatic stress disorder.

The reason for my concern is that I leant it to a friend to take
on his ski-holiday (for which I have good reason to believe was quite
a hostile environment) and yesterday I received a postcard from it!!

Although it sounded OK in the card, I was not happy about some of
the undertones in its message. Do you think this is normal?
